Alphabet Greeting Cards - R is for Roquefort

  • The Cheese School worked with a local artist to create a full alphabet of cheese greeting cards. A perfect cheese gift for anyone you know, like your Rolfer Rajal. The front of the card is beautifully illustrated, the interior is blank waiting for just the right message, and the back has the glorious cheesy details.

This legendary blue cheese is made in south central France from rich Laucune sheep's milk. It's considered one of the world's oldest cheese recipes and has been aged in the same limestone caves for millennia. Today every wheel of Roquefort must be aged in those caves for 90 days. The texture is moist and soft with flavors that range from sweet to spicy. The cheese of kings and popes indeed!
