Robiola, Taleggio, Gorgonzola, Grana Padano: These are just a few of the famous cheeses that trace their roots to Lombardy and Piedmont. In the mountains of Northern Italy, these provinces are rich in both finance and formaggi. You can taste the wealth that this bountiful and diverse area generates. Let cheese importer, and Northern Italian specialist, Andy Lax, guide you through a tasting of his favorite Lombardian and Piedmontese cheeses. The cheeses will be paired with a selection of Italy’s wide variety of wine presented by Naomi Smith.
