For some, the holidays mean indulging in cookies and fruitcake, for us they mean breaking open our little piggy bank and splurging. Truffles are worth their weight in gold. For the last 20+ holiday seasons, Juliana Uruburu, the general manager at Market Hall Foods has imported mountains of them, both the black and white varieties. Her loyal customers call weeks in advance to get their hands in the truffle jar. In this class, you’ll try Juliana’s bevy of truffled cheeses, honeys, oils, and more. She’ll share her favorite recipes and show you a dozen ways to serve the most fabulous fungi known to man.
