Essex Street Cheese is an importer and selector of classic European cheeses. Working with five different countries to advocate for the most authentic representations of their misconceived cheeses. The act of selecting involves massive amounts of time and commitment, from tasting cheese at the source, sometimes multiple times a month, to getting customers to love and purchase the cheeses they select for the market. Which begs the question; why bother? Join Benoit Prince of Marcel Petite, Dominique Coyte of Borough Cheese Company and Betty Koster of Fromagerie L'Amuse as they discuss that it means to select cheese, why this action is so valuable, and why it is different for English, Spanish, Dutch and American markets.
