There’s no detail too tiny when wedding planning. And, as many a nuptial-based blog would indicate, the kind of cake is pretty massive deal — sending some sweet-obsessed twosomes into a tizzy over flavor, icing, and topper choices.
But, it seems some couples are thinking outside the cake box these days and opting for non-traditional treats, like the cheesy tower of goodness seen here. Click for full article

"Planning a wedding in the city, you can expect to come across a few unique venues. The Cheese School in San Francisco not only nails the perfect mix of urban and lush, it’s the kind of space that any foodie couple could totally embrace as a place to say I Do. It’s got two intimate spaces within it, one that Buzzworthy Events gave a modern and bright feel to and another that called for a moodier vibe. A beautiful venue + to die for eats."
It's been called Burning Man meets Fight Club for cheese. The Cheesemonger Invitational is a unique gathering of cheese experts from around the world who gather in one place to compete at a sort of decathlon of cheese knowledge and skills. It's rockin', rowdy, and tantalizingly tasty. Expect cutting and wrapping competitions, a sea of 'perfect bites', and an MC in a cow costume shouting "MOO!" at every opportunity.
This year, The Cheese School's own monger-in-chief, Noreen Guizar, is competing and we're so excited! The whole staff will be cheering our hearts out. We hope you can join us in our cheesy fandom!

Thanks Cheese Rank for the kind words! San Francisco was voted #2 of the best cheese cities in the country. Read the full article here.
The Cheese School of San Francisco is really what sets San Francisco apart from our other cheese cities on the list. The school was founded in 2006 and is the only one of its kind in the nation. Its roster of instructors is incredibly impressive and its mission statement of “eating is learning” is what any cheese-head wants to hear on their first day of school.
